Our organization's mission is to introduce the sport of field hockey to youth and adults alike, to provide the best in field hockey coaching in order to develop participants' talents and skills, and to encourage and assist participants in becoming members of the U.S. Field Hockey Teams. Moorpark Field Hockey strives to develop and maintain an infrastructure consisting of parents, volunteers and field hockey enthusiasts to organize teams, and to participate in field hockey leagues, tournaments and clinics. Our philosophy is to administer in fairness to all our membership and to make their participation enjoyable.
When does the Spring Season begin and end?
The season for the Youth and Adult divisions runs from February to May. Youths will play on Saturday and Adults on Sundays.
What format do we play in the Spring Season?
Youth Divisions:
U8 - Plays a modified short field and the games are approximately 30 minutes.
U10 - U15 - Plays half field and the games has two 25 minute periods.
U16 & U19 - Plays full field and the games has two 25 minute periods.
Adult Divisions:
D2 & D3 - Plays full field and the games has two 25 minute periods.
